Computational Mechanics &
Materials Laboratory

Located in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State University, the Computational Mechanics & Materials Laboratory (CMML) performs computational and experimental research related to additive manufacturing, mechanical deformation of metallic systems, and more!

Our research focus stems from a desire to produce end-user knowledge and tools to advance the use of sophisticated computational frameworks and materials understanding for a wider audience.

Matthew W. Priddy, Ph.D.

Matthew W. Priddy, Ph.D. is the primary investigator for the CMML research group located in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State University.

Dr. Priddy has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, along with two degrees (B.S. and M.S.) in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University.
